Strathcona Ave

The move to Strathcona Avenue took place in December 1964 at the time of my sixteenth birthday and I remained there throughout my high school years. After graduating in 1969 I joined the Bank of Nova Scotia in late August and began my banking career. During my 18 month training period I went to Hamilton for early ledger and teller training before Thunder Bay was moved to the Manitoba and Saskatchewan Region then my training courses moved to Winnipeg. It was there in November 1970 that I me this amazing young woman who would eventually agree to be my wife, but that is for another story. I left Thunder Bay on February 28, 1971 on my way to Regina, Saskatchewan and the adventures in banking and life throughout Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Please continue to follow my progress in the land of my memories.
